Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker – Automatic Remote Control Protection

In the era of 3G, 4G and 5G, the smartphones are equipped with music players, camera, email and internet connection even you can make calls to friends and relative as well.

But wait, why we are interested in phone calls as we are supposed to discuss the circuit breakers and protection. Well, if all these important tasks can be done through a smartphone, why we can’t use it to control our circuit breaker as we sparkies are nothing less than those techies. So you got the idea that we are talking about smart WiFi remote control circuit breakers. Yes, they exist. The smart WiFi circuit breaker can control the ON / OFF position through ISC when connected to the WiFi and an active internet connection router.

We will be talking about the Single Pole (1P), two poles (2P), three poles (3P) and four poles (4P) Smart WiFi Circuit breakers with rating and specifications.

Obliviously, this smart circuit breaker can be used to transform the ordinary household wiring into a smart system with automation. For example, with the scheduled operation, you can turn OFF and ON a fan, heater, washing machine, water pump motor, etc at a specific time and they can be switched ON/OFF automatically in schedule time operation. The time setting can be done through a smartphone instead of manual operation.

Construction of WiFi Circuit Breaker

WiFi circuit breakers are same like normal and ordinary CBs expect there is an antenna for WiFi signals and a special mechanical switch mechanism for automatic ON/OFF operation as shown in the following fig.Construction of a Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker

How to Install and Use a Smart WiFi Circuit Breaker?

It is the same like an ordinary circuit breaker (which can be seen in our home distribution board) expect there is an antenna for remote control through WiFi in the smart circuit breaker.

The upper portion is input (Line and Neutral) while the lower is output. In some cases, The incoming lines are connected to the lower portion in our home distribution broads, in that case, you may upside down the smart circuit breaker and install in the existing distribution board for proper operation.

After installation, simply install the iOS or Android app by scanning the QR code on the product box. After installing the app, you may pair the device and can set the automatic operation or scheduled time operation through the smartphone.WiFi Circuit Breaker Remote Control through Smartphone
